Gran Canaria has always been a very popular holiday destination for many types of holidays but after the recent introduction of 4 new golf courses and of course, thanks to one of the world´s best climates, golfing is another great reason to holiday on the island.
The south of the island sees hardly any rainfall throughout the year (the Sahara desert sees more rain) and the north of the island with it´s "eternal spring" mean every day of the year can be an ideal day for golf.
Gran Canaria is known as the "continent in miniature" with desert-like landscapes, golden beaches and the holiday resorts in the south, lush green countryside, lakes, mountains, forests and remote villages in the center and typical Spanish towns and a cosmopolitan city in the north.

Salobre Golf by Maspalomas with 18 holes (36 are planned) and par 71
Meloneras Golf Club by Maspalomas with 18 holes and par 71
Anfi Tauro Golf by Puerto Rico with 8 holes par 27 and 18 holes par 72
