Reina Isabel Hotel
    
The Reina Isabel Hotel is an established 4 star property located on the beachfront and promenade of Las Canteras "blue flag" beach.
Many of the rooms offer spectacular views of the Atlantic and Las Canteras beach whilst other of Las Palmas city, oneof the largest cities in Spain.
A few meters from the main building are the golden sands of the beach, guests of the hotel have free use of sunbeds and sunshades on the beach as well as beach towels.
The hotel rooms are modern by design and the rooms and hotel were refurbished in 2004. Rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom with full bath and shower, satelite tv, minibar, balconies and high-speed Internet access. (Las Canteras beachfront itself is a "wireless free" Internet point).
The hotel has a buffet restaurant on the ground floor facing the ocean for guests taking the breakfast and/or evening meal options. On the top/8th floor is the exclusive A La Carte restaurant offering stunning views of the shoreline and city. On the promenade itself is the hotels cafe serving snacks, drinks and light meals throughout the day as you lookout onto the beach and to sea.
Within a few minutes walk from the hotel are a vast amount of restaurants from snack bars to some of the most exclusive restaurants in the city. A maze of streets host dozens of smaller shops whilst the main avenue of Mesa y Lopez is a 15 minute walk and is home to the main departments stores of the city including the largest store in Spain, El Corte Ingles spanning 13 floors.
Santa Catalina Park is a less than 10 minutes stroll and often host to live music and art events including the annual carnival and womad festivals.
Also on the 8th fllor is the hotel pool (heated in winter) and a fully equipped gym, jacuzzi and sauna.
